My new thing lately has been murder mysteries.
This past semester for my senior English elective I decided to take mystery fiction, and ever since then I have been loving the thrill of reading as a mystery unfolds with its twists and turns, the unsuspecting killers, and the crazy plot twists.
That is the reason I started reading Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder by Joanne Fluke. I was looking through books one day at Barnes and Nobles and saw a brightly covered book with a chocolate chip cookie on it. What you will find is that I not only love reading, but I love food too, especially baked goods. I saw it, it was a reasonable price, so I had to have it. Ever since then I have been reading it.
I'm about to start a new murder mystery called Spying in High Heels by Gemma Halliday and it already sounds like it's going to be amazing!
Lately I've been hearing a lot of, "You read on your own?!" or "I don't read when I don't have to". What I decided to do was to create a blog to write about books that I've been reading so that hopefully people my age will either continue or start to read.

Reason Why...
The overall reason I decided to start this blog is because reading is something I love to do and I feel like if someone else is willing to recommend books to you, you might read them.
My plans are to try and update this blog as I read books or as I have thoughts to read books. Of course I'm always open to suggestions because I want to read new things as well.
In this day and age few people in my generation enjoy reading, I think it's because we're forced to read so many books in school that we never have time to just find a book that we would like to read, and we're never asked what we would like to read for any type of assignment at school.
I'm not the best at writing, so please ignore grammatical errors or spelling mistakes hahaha but hopefully I will continue to keep you entertained with a wide variety of easy to read teenage books.
